Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary

Managing inventory movements, the full-time Inventory Control Clerk will oversee stocking and organizing spare parts for the Maintenance team while ensuring accurate record-keeping and participating in inventory cycle counting in Bay Point, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of inventory movements of consumables and spare parts for the Maintenance team
• Set up and organize spare parts areas while maintaining accurate records of inventory quantity, type, and value
• Utilize CMMS (SAP) for parts inventory management, tracking, and invoicing

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehousing, or maintenance environment
• Experience with inventory management and parts procurement for a maintenance organization is desired
• Proficient in using a forklift and pallet jack
• Computer literate in MS Office Suite, primarily MS Excel
