Investment Accounting VP

Job Summary

Leading the investment accounting function, the full-time remote Investment Accounting VP will set strategy and manage reporting for the company's investment portfolio while developing a high-performing team and ensuring strong governance over invested assets.

Key responsibilities

• Sets the strategy and operating model for investment accounting to ensure reliable reporting and governance
• Oversees accurate month-end, quarter-end, and annual reporting for invested assets across various accounting bases
• Partners with senior investment leaders to align accounting outcomes with investment strategies and compliance requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent related work experience
• 12+ years of accounting or auditing experience, including at least 7 years in investment accounting
• 10+ years of management experience
• 5+ years of experience in insurance/reinsurance or financial services accounting
