Investment Funds Attorney

Job Summary

Supporting a growing Alternative Private Investments Team, the part-time Private Funds Attorney will advise on privately offered alternative investment vehicles, including private credit funds and hedge funds, while working remotely on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review private placement memoranda, partnership agreements, and fund formation documents
• Advise business stakeholders on regulatory matters and negotiate fund-related agreements
• Assist in navigating legal and compliance requirements across U.S. and offshore fund structures

Required qualifications

• At least three years of experience in private fund formation
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents related to fund formation
• Experience advising on regulatory matters for alternative investment vehicles
• Ability to work approximately 20+ hours per week, with flexibility for full-time hours
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
