Investment Officer, Arkansas

Job Summary

As the sole on-the-ground presence for a full-time, fixed-term Investment Officer in Northwest Arkansas, the candidate will manage deal sourcing, collaborate with regional partners, and conduct financial analysis to support innovative capital deployment for early-stage companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate early-stage investment opportunities while maintaining an organized pipeline
• Collaborate with regional entrepreneur support organizations to enhance deal flow and ecosystem awareness
• Conduct financial analysis and due diligence, including building financial models and drafting investment memos

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of experience at a CDFI, bank, investment organization, or accelerator within Arkansas
• Experience analyzing financial statements and building financial projections
• Familiarity with alternative financing structures such as redeemable equity and revenue-share debt
• Established presence in the NWA entrepreneurial ecosystem or ability to quickly build relationships
• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets for financial modeling; familiarity with management tools is an asset
