Investment Specialist
Job Summary
To support the development of impactful investment strategies, the full-time Investment Specialist will conduct market analysis, design blended finance solutions, and execute investment transactions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct strategic research and market analysis to identify investment opportunities and inform financial strategies
- Design and implement blended finance solutions and provide technical assistance to enhance investment readiness
- Execute investment transactions, including due diligence and financial modeling, to align with UNCDF's strategic priorities
Required qualifications
- Advanced (Master's level) university degree in development, business administration, finance, or related fields
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in the financial or private sector, with investment expertise
- Experience in project preparation and development of investment opportunities with social and environmental objectives
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Microsoft Excel
- Fluency in written and spoken English
