Investment Vice President

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Vice President, Investment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and evaluate investment opportunities in SME solar developers and distributed energy platforms across Africa
• Lead transaction execution, including financial modeling, due diligence, and structuring tailored debt solutions
• Monitor performance of SME borrowers and solar project portfolios, and manage relationships with stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Management degree; relevant certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, or FRM preferred
• 6-10 years of experience in deal sourcing, appraisal, and structuring in investment banking or impact investing
• Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in financial modeling
• Project finance background with experience in solar energy projects in Africa
• Ability to work remotely from Nigeria with a strong desire to create a positive societal impact
