Investor Accountant

Job Summary

Responsible for reconciling corporate accounts and processing financial transactions, the remote Investor Accountant will manage GL entries, bank transfers, and assist with investor reporting while serving as backup for the Corporate Accounting Associate.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile daily custodial and clearing bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Process daily financial functions such as wires, general ledger entries, and payoff remittances
• Assist in the reporting and reconciliation of FNMA, FHLMC, and GNMA accounts

Required qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or related field required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate accounting and bank reconciliation, specifically with GSE Investor accounts
• Experience with ICE/Black Knight MSP is required
• Previous banking and mortgage experience is preferred
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy
