iOS Developer
Job Summary
To support a growing startup, the remote iOS Developer will build and ship native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit while managing app lifecycle and integrating with APIs, with flexible options for full-time, part-time, or contract commitments.
Key responsibilities
- Build native iOS screens, components, and flows in SwiftUI and/or UIKit
- Ship applications through Apple's pipeline, including TestFlight and App Store release processes
- Integrate with APIs and maintain app health through testing and code hygiene
Required qualifications
- 2-5+ years of experience building native iOS applications in Swift (UIKit and/or SwiftUI)
- Proficiency in Xcode, including project setup, debugging, and shipping builds
- Ability to read and contribute to existing iOS codebases without rewriting in new frameworks
- Understanding of iOS fundamentals, including app lifecycle and networking
- Strong asynchronous communication skills, particularly in PR descriptions and identifying blockers
