iOS Engineering Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Engineering, iOS.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end engineering execution for iOS, from architecture and roadmap through delivery and reliability
• Drive performance improvements targeting reductions in app launch time, memory usage, and crash rates
• Design and operate observability, metrics, and automated testing systems to ensure consistent performance at scale

Required Qualifications

• Founder-level ownership mindset with a focus on business impact
• Senior, hands-on iOS engineering ability with experience in Swift/SwiftUI and UIKit
• Deep iOS platform expertise with 7+ years of development experience
• Experience in high-intensity environments such as YC-backed startups or early-stage companies
• Mobile leadership experience managing iOS teams of 3+ engineers
