iOS Principal Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer, iOS Performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the architecture of the iOS Mobile App and propose solutions to scale it for 100M+ DAUs
• Identify gaps in the current iOS App Architecture and lead redesign efforts to enhance modularity, performance, and quality
• Define and execute key user-facing performance goals, improving observability and data quality across performance areas

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 5+ years in iOS application design/development
• Deep understanding of building mobile applications at scale
• Experience influencing technical direction in large organizations (200+ engineers)
• Familiarity with modern iOS development frameworks such as Swift UI and structured concurrency
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent technical expertise
