IoT Principal Programmer Analyst

Job Summary

Working fully remotely, the IoT Principal Programmer Analyst will lead the end-to-end development and governance of the Enterprise-Wide IoT Platform, ensuring secure data ingestion and visualization while mentoring technical teams across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in leading the architectural design and ongoing administration of the Enterprise IoT Platform
• Develop secure connections between industrial machinery and the cloud, troubleshooting connectivity issues as needed
• Establish and document IoT Connection Standards to ensure security and interoperability across business units

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field AND 6 years of experience
• Proven track record of deploying Industrial IoT (IIoT) ecosystems from inception to production
• Experience managing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for IoT applications
• Expertise in IoT protocols such as MQTT, OPC-UA, and HTTP/S
• Experience in writing and maintaining APIs with standard communication protocols (e.g., REST API, JSON, XML)
