Iowa Canvass Director

Job Summary

Leading a canvass operation, the full-time Central Iowa Canvass Director will recruit and train canvassers, manage turf assignments, and engage Iowans on critical issues related to water pollution and cancer crises, primarily working remotely with field meetups.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit and hire canvassers while training them to conduct effective canvassing conversations
• Analyze canvasser performance and ensure quality control to maximize success and accuracy of data collected
• Schedule canvasser hours and manage logistics for transportation to canvassing locations

Required qualifications

• At least one election cycle canvassing experience in electoral or issue organizing
• Familiarity with VAN or a similar voter database tool
