Job Summary

A company is looking for an Academic Counselor, K-12.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling on academic planning, course selection, and post-secondary options
• Develop and implement academic support plans and monitor student progress
• Guide students through the college application process and organize virtual college and career events

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in School Counseling or a related field
• Valid Iowa School Counselor license
• Minimum of two years of experience as a school counselor, preferably K-12
• Strong understanding of academic advising and social-emotional learning principles
• Residency in the state of Iowa is required
