Iowa Licensed Claim Analyst

Job Summary

Reviewing and analyzing claims, the full-time Iowa Licensed Claim Analyst will make accurate decisions in compliance with policy and regulations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and adjudicate claims by gathering and reviewing necessary documentation to make informed judgments
• Maintain well-documented claim files for compliance and legal purposes, referring complex claims to relevant resources as needed
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding claim decisions and status updates to ensure understanding of the claims process

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of claims or customer service experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, or education
• General medical knowledge preferred to support effective claim analysis
• Proficiency with desktop applications such as MS Office and ability to navigate various software
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy
• Must maintain confidentiality and demonstrate ownership in resolving issues
