Iowa Licensed Claims Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Representative to handle various aspects of claims processing remotely in Iowa.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze coverage and ensure losses are covered by client policy
• Initiate contact with clients and claimants within 24 hours and take statements regarding claims
• Negotiate settlement amounts and prepare claims summary reports for clients

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience
• One year of claims handling or insurance experience or related experience
• Bachelor's degree may be considered in lieu of claims handling or insurance experience
• AIC, INS or other insurance-related certifications preferred
• Basic knowledge of the claims adjusting process and insurance contracts
