Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze coverage to ensure losses are covered by client policies
• Initiate contact within 24 hours for workers' compensation claims and take statements from involved parties
• Negotiate settlement amounts and prepare claims summary reports for clients

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience
• One year of claims handling or insurance experience, or related experience
• Workers' compensation claims handling experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree may be considered in lieu of claims handling experience
• AIC, INS, or other insurance-related certifications preferred
