Iowa Licensed Counseling Manager

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Iowa Licensed Counseling Manager will provide leadership to counseling staff, support students in meeting graduation requirements, and develop counseling programs for academic and career planning.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise counseling staff and ensure academic success through effective communication with parents and students
• Develop and implement counseling programs related to academic and career planning, crisis management, and interpersonal adjustment
• Oversee the Personal Learning Plan (PLP) for each student and manage the course selection process in compliance with state requirements

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience with some counseling or management experience
• Valid counseling license required; administrative license preferred
• Advanced degree in a relevant field
• Proficiency in technology, especially Microsoft Office products
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
