Iowa Licensed Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

To provide technical leadership on complex power distribution projects, the full-time Iowa Licensed Electrical Engineer will focus on medium and high voltage power distribution and design, supporting multiple projects remotely with quarterly onsite visits while mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of complex medium- and high-voltage power distribution projects
• Develop engineering solutions for new installations, system upgrades, and retrofit projects
• Troubleshoot electrical distribution systems and recommend corrective actions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience
• Strong expertise in medium and high voltage power distribution and design
• Experience managing and delivering complex engineering projects
• Knowledge of electrical system analysis, troubleshooting, and power distribution equipment
