Job Summary

A company is looking for a Secondary Teacher, CTE - Family and Consumer Sciences (6-12).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and adapt curriculum materials to align with state standards and diverse learning styles
• Foster a positive online learning environment and implement strategies for student engagement
• Design, administer, and assess student assignments while providing timely feedback on academic progress

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required
• A valid Iowa teaching license with endorsements in 5-12 Family and Consumer Sciences is necessary
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in a related subject, preferably in a virtual setting
• Strong competency in Family & Consumer Sciences and familiarity with virtual learning platforms
• Commitment to data-driven instructional practices and the ability to adapt teaching strategies for virtual learning
