Job Summary

Focusing on user interfaces and accessibility, the contract Iowa Licensed Front-End UI Developer will author clean HTML and CSS, integrate frameworks, and implement accessibility standards while collaborating remotely with a digital modernization team.

Key responsibilities

• Author clean, well-structured HTML and CSS/SASS that complies with modern web standards
• Seamlessly integrate frontend user interfaces into Angular or MVC .NET frameworks
• Implement digital accessibility utilizing WCAG standards and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Required qualifications

• 6 years of experience with semantic HTML5, CSS, and SASS
• 6 years of experience implementing WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards and managing ARIA attributes
• 6 years of experience integrating front-end assets into Angular or MVC .NET frameworks
• 6 years of experience with screen reader testing (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver)
• 6 years of experience using accessibility auditing tools (axe DevTools, WAVE)
