Job Summary

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, the fully remote Iowa Licensed Mental Health Therapist will provide therapeutic services to the senior population, utilizing evidence-based approaches and developing personalized treatment plans while ensuring compliant documentation based on Medicare guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with a psychiatric physician, RN Director, and medical office coordinator to deliver services to seniors
• Utilize group therapy, individual sessions, and family therapy as needed, while assisting with community education
• Document treatment plans and progress in compliance with Medicare guidelines within designated timeframes

Required qualifications

• Licensure in Social Work or Counseling as recognized by the state (e.g., LISW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
• Commitment to enhancing the quality of life for patients through kindness and accountability
• Experience working with the senior population is preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and peer support
