Job Summary

A company is looking for a Secondary Teacher, Music (6-12).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive live virtual lessons aligned with Iowa State Standards
• Develop and administer formative and summative assessments to monitor student learning
• Collaborate with curriculum specialists and other teachers to enhance the curriculum

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• A bachelor's degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related field
• A valid Iowa teaching license with an endorsement in the relevant elective area (5-12 Music and K-8 Music) or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of successful teaching experience, preferably in a secondary setting
• Experience in utilizing online learning platforms and educational technology tools relevant to Music instruction
• Residency in the state of Iowa is required
