Job Summary
A company is looking for a National Sales Agent, Direct Distribution - Personal Lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls/emails from prospective customers for property/casualty insurance and perform follow-up work to close sales
- Write quality risk policies based on underwriting requirements and utilize sales techniques to close sales
- Provide counseling on appropriate coverage, complete necessary applications, and contribute to team quotas/goals
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; undergraduate studies preferred
- State licensing as required for property/casualty products
- Three or more years of related work experience in sales of property/casualty and life insurance
- Prefer exposure to multiple product telemarketing in a call center environment
- Advanced knowledge of sales techniques and insurance products
