Job Summary

A company is looking for a National Sales Agent, Direct Distribution - Personal Lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle incoming calls/emails from prospective customers for property/casualty insurance and perform follow-up work to close sales
  • Write quality risk policies based on underwriting requirements and utilize sales techniques to close sales
  • Provide counseling on appropriate coverage, complete necessary applications, and contribute to team quotas/goals
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; undergraduate studies preferred
  • State licensing as required for property/casualty products
  • Three or more years of related work experience in sales of property/casualty and life insurance
  • Prefer exposure to multiple product telemarketing in a call center environment
  • Advanced knowledge of sales techniques and insurance products
