Job Summary
Providing after-hours telephonic care, the part-time Iowa Licensed Nurse Practitioner will deliver high-quality medical support to aging residents across multiple states, managing high call volumes and conducting telehealth visits primarily by phone.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the first line of support for residents and facility staff after-hours, offering medical care and direction over the phone
- Utilize Curana's telephonic platform to coordinate care between facilities, hospitals, and clinics
- Perform comprehensive assessments and document encounters accurately in the EMR, ensuring compliance with CMS requirements
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current unrestricted NP license in Iowa
- Nurse Practitioner national certification as ANP, FNP, or GNP
- Background in acute and chronic disease management
- 3+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
