Iowa Licensed Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support a growing telehealth practice, an Iowa Licensed Nurse Practitioner will provide remote clinical evaluations, prescribe and titrate GLP-1 medications for weight management patients, and collaborate with a Registered Dietitian team on a part-time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous telehealth evaluations for new GLP-1 patients, assessing eligibility and treatment goals
• Prescribe and titrate FDA-approved GLP-1 medications under independent prescriptive authority
• Manage follow-up visits, dose titration, and lab reviews while participating in clinical reviews and quality improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license with current ANCC or AANP board certification
• Licenses in a minimum of 30 U.S. states, with a preference for those granting full independent practice authority
• Minimum 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience managing obesity or related conditions
• Comfort with remote clinical practice and proficiency in EHR platforms
• Active NPI and professional liability/malpractice insurance covering telehealth encounters
