Job Summary

A company is looking for a PRN Iowa KidSight Pediatric Vision Screening Specialist - Orthoptist.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret photo screening images using the iScreen Client Portal and record findings for patient follow-up
• Make informed decisions based on image interpretations and clinical data while recognizing subtle indicators of vision issues
• Stay updated on advancements in pediatric vision screening and participate in ongoing training and professional development

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in medical imaging, optometry, or healthcare
• National certification as a certified orthoptist from the American Orthoptic Council or an international orthoptic council
• 6 months to 1 year of experience interpreting medical images, preferably in a pediatric setting
• Proficiency in using medical imaging software and tools
• Strong understanding of pediatric eye anatomy and common vision disorders
