Iowa Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary
To support a transformative approach to behavioral health care, the full-time or part-time Iowa Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct telehealth evaluations, deliver evidence-based treatment for substance use and mental health conditions, and collaborate with a dedicated care team in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and follow-up telehealth evaluations
- Deliver care for both substance use and mental health conditions
- Prescribe medications as appropriate and answer member questions
Required Qualifications
- Active and verifiable PMHNP license in Iowa (Medicaid enrollment is a plus)
- At least 2 years of experience in addiction or mental health treatment, or relevant experience for those with less than 2 years
- Experience prescribing Suboxone and active DEA registration
- Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure (cost covered by the company)
- Empathy for members facing behavioral health challenges
