Job Summary

Offering a full-time remote opportunity, the Iowa Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide outpatient psychiatric care for lower to moderate acuity populations, managing patient evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management with minimal administrative burden.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment planning for patients with conditions such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD
• Maintain clinical autonomy by controlling scheduling and session structure while adhering to established clinical standards
• Utilize electronic medical records for accurate documentation and collaborate with an integrated care team for patient referrals

Required qualifications

• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority in Iowa
• Minimum of 3 years post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP
• Experience in delivering outpatient psychiatric care, including medication management and supportive therapy
• Comfortable practicing in a fully remote, telepsychiatry-based model
