Job Summary
Offering a full-time remote opportunity, the Iowa Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide outpatient psychiatric care to lower to moderate acuity populations, managing patient evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management with minimal administrative burden.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment planning for patients
- Conduct 60-minute intake sessions and 30-minute follow-up appointments
- Utilize an integrated care model with in-house referrals while maintaining clinical autonomy
Required qualifications
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority in Iowa
- A minimum of 3 years post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP
- Experience in delivering outpatient psychiatric care, including medication management
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records for accurate documentation
