Job Summary
To provide comprehensive psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment through telemedicine, the full-time Iowa Licensed Psychiatric Provider will conduct diagnostic evaluations, manage psychopharmacological treatments, and coordinate care for patients across various age groups in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric diagnostic evaluations and psychopharmacological management for mental health and substance use disorders
- Provide medication-assisted treatment and supportive psychotherapy, employing trauma-informed and patient-centered approaches
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring comprehensive support for patients' psychological and medical needs
Required qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Medical License in Iowa
- 2+ years of experience as a Psychiatric Advance Practice Provider (PMHNP or CAQ in Psych for PA-Cs preferred)
- DEA License
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
