Job Summary
To support a growing virtual mental health practice, the full-time Iowa Licensed Remote Therapist will provide outpatient therapy to clients with lower to moderate acuity populations, utilizing evidence-based practices in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct 60-minute intakes and follow-up sessions for a consistent outpatient caseload
- Make independent treatment decisions while collaborating with an in-house referral network for psychiatric support
- Manage documentation and adhere to defined goals within a structured outpatient model, minimizing administrative tasks
Required qualifications
- Independently licensed therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC or equivalent) with an active, unrestricted license
- Two or more independent and active state licenses (excluding CA, NY, and MA)
- Experience in outpatient, community mental health, or structured clinical settings
- Strong clinical judgment and comfort in managing an outpatient caseload
- Familiarity with structured, skills-based modalities (e.g., CBT, ACT, MI, DBT-informed care) is highly desired
