Iowa Licensed Remote Therapist

Job Summary

To support a growing virtual mental health practice, the full-time Iowa Licensed Remote Therapist will provide outpatient therapy to clients with lower to moderate acuity mental health issues while enjoying flexible scheduling and minimal administrative responsibilities in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient therapy sessions, including 60-minute intakes and follow-ups, to a consistent caseload
• Make independent treatment decisions while adhering to evidence-based clinical standards
• Collaborate with an in-house referral network and receive operational support for scheduling, billing, and intake coordination

Required qualifications

• Independently licensed therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or equivalent) with an active, unrestricted license
• Two or more independent and active state licenses (excluding CA, NY, and MA)
• Experience managing an outpatient caseload in a structured clinical setting
• Strong clinical judgment and comfort practicing in a fast-paced outpatient environment
• Preferred experience with structured, skills-based modalities (e.g., CBT, ACT, MI, DBT-informed care)
