Iowa Licensed RN Clinical Support

Job Summary

To support regional clinical tasks remotely, the part-time Iowa Licensed RN Clinical Support will manage Epic in-basket messaging, handle overdue patient orders, and coordinate medication prior authorizations while ensuring timely follow-up with clinics.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Epic in-basket tasks including patient messages, results, and orders
• Provide appropriate documentation in electronic health records and support patient care delivery objectives
• Educate patients and families on testing values and next steps as directed by providers

Required qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Valid RN license in Iowa and eligibility under NLC multistate license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and policies
• Willingness to attend department meetings and stay informed on organizational updates
