Job Summary

A company is looking for a Secondary Teacher, History (6-12).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging live virtual lessons aligned with Iowa State Standards for Social Studies for grades 6-12
• Utilize various online teaching methodologies and develop asynchronous learning activities
• Provide individualized support, maintain accurate student records, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of successful teaching experience, preferably in a secondary setting
• Experience teaching various history courses such as World/US History and Civics/Geography
• Demonstrated experience in utilizing online learning platforms and educational technology tools
• A bachelor's degree in History, History Education, or a related field
• A valid Iowa teaching license with an endorsement in Secondary Social Studies (grades 6-12) or equivalent
