Job Summary

A company is looking for a Secondary Teacher, Science (6-12).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive live virtual lessons aligned with Iowa Science Standards for grades 6-12
• Utilize diverse online teaching methods and resources to meet varied learning styles and needs
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress while providing timely feedback on student work

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Science, Science Education, or a related field
• A valid Iowa teaching license with an endorsement in Secondary Science (grades 6-12) or equivalent
• Minimum of two (2) years of successful teaching experience, preferably in a secondary setting
• Experience teaching a range of secondary science courses
• Demonstrated experience using online learning platforms and educational technology
