Iowa Licensed Sleep Technologist

Job Summary

To support efficient patient care, the part-time Iowa Licensed Sleep Technologist will accurately review and score sleep study data remotely, collaborating with sleep physicians to ensure timely completion of high-quality reports.

Key responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and score sleep studies according to AASM guidelines and departmental standards
• Document sleep stages, respiratory events, and other significant findings while maintaining high-quality standards
• Communicate effectively with physicians and staff regarding study concerns and complete scoring within productivity expectations

Required qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Polysomnography, Respiratory Therapy, or related field
• Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) required
• Knowledge of current AASM scoring rules and sleep study protocols
• Demonstrated competency in scoring polysomnography studies
• Prior training in a related health profession is preferred
