Iowa Licensed Workers' Compensation Supervisor

Job Summary

Providing oversight and expertise in claims handling, the full-time remote Iowa Licensed Workers' Compensation Supervisor will manage litigated and complex claims, assist in staff development, and ensure compliance with best practices in claims management.

Key responsibilities

• Adjudicate claims and negotiate settlements while monitoring and documenting claim files
• Lead and coach team members on workflow, performance reviews, and career development
• Facilitate team meetings and coordinate training to maintain standardized processes for quality service

Required qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred with technical designations such as AIC and CPCU encouraged
• 5+ years of experience in adjusting property and casualty claims, including litigated claims
• Active state-specific Workers Compensation License required or ability to acquire within three months of hire
• Extensive knowledge of General and Auto Liability or Workers Compensation coverages
• Strong grasp of claims principles, practices, and insurance coverage interpretation
