IP Legal Operations Paralegal

Job Summary

Supporting the Trademark, Marketing, and Copyright team, the remote IP Legal Operations Paralegal will manage copyright-focused paralegal duties and legal operations project-management tasks, working approximately 40 hours per week on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full-time paralegal coverage and maintain continuity of existing workflows and stakeholder relationships
• Perform copyright paralegal tasks, including managing DMCA escalations and assisting with registrations and content review processes
• Address legal operations and project-management backlog by triaging stalled projects and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of paralegal experience with the ability to manage daily tasks independently
• Demonstrated experience in legal operations or project management, including stakeholder coordination and meeting facilitation
• Proficiency in using Slack for workflows and communication
• Ability to start on short notice and commit to 40 hours per week during the coverage period
• Experience with copyright processes, including DMCA takedowns, is preferred
