IP MOP Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IP MOP Engineer to join their network operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for IP and MPLS network changes and troubleshooting
• Perform CLI configuration and operational tasks on various network devices while adhering to MOPs
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 network technologies, including switching and routing
• Experience with Ethernet services, MPLS, and IP routing principles
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS, JNCIP) are highly desirable
• Experience with creating and following detailed Methods of Procedure (MOPs)
• Hands-on CLI configuration knowledge of network devices from leading vendors
