Job Summary
Driving the implementation of innovative solutions, the full-time IP Optical Sales Engineer will work remotely to support account teams in promoting IP/MPLS, Packet, Optical, and Software solutions to US Service Providers, MSOs, and Datacenters.
Key responsibilities
- Lead pre-sales activities in designing and delivering network architectures while articulating the company's unique business value
- Develop and present high-quality RFI/RFP/RFQ responses and provide pre-sales support for IP Optical product lines
- Coordinate customer lab trials and proofs of concept, collaborating with cross-functional resources to demonstrate technology solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Proven experience in the Telecom industry with a strong record of selling to Tier 1, 2, and/or 3 Service Providers
- In-depth knowledge of DWDM Optical Transport, IP/MPLS, and related IP protocols
- Customer-facing experience with strong relationship-building skills
- Preferred certifications and experience with Juniper/Cisco technologies
