IP Patent Paralegal

Job Summary

Supporting complex international patent prosecution activities, the remote IP Patent Paralegal will manage U.S. patent filings for global clients while collaborating with an assigned attorney and the Foreign Intake Department.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end preparation and filing of U.S. patent applications on behalf of foreign associates, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Partner closely with an assigned attorney to support a large international client portfolio and maintain consistent communication with global stakeholders
• Coordinate intake, review, and processing of foreign originated patent matters within the Foreign Intake Department

Required qualifications:

• At least five years of experience handling U.S. patent filings for foreign associates within a law firm environment
• Strong knowledge of patent prosecution procedures and familiarity with international filing processes
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in a deadline-driven setting
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across legal and administrative teams
