IP Research Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IP Research Analyst to join their Research + Intelligence division.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts legal, business, and other research and reference work using various information resources
• Distills research results into clear and concise reports and assists in training attorneys and legal staff
• Evaluates information sources for reliability and relevance, and supports IP-related research tasks

Qualifications:

• MLS or JD and/or relevant professional research experience in a law firm or academic setting
• 5+ years of research experience in a law firm, academic library, or research center
• Experience with legal and business information resources and online database searching
• Familiarity with Lexis, Westlaw, and other legal research databases
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and request tracking software
