IP Research Manager

Job Summary

Providing technical expertise and managing research projects, the full-time IP Research Manager will create, launch, and oversee studies within AOP Connect, ensuring alignment with client expectations while collaborating closely with researchers and presenting findings during client calls.

Key responsibilities

• Create, launch, and manage RWS studies in AOP Connect
• Review researcher-submitted responses for accuracy and relevance, providing feedback as needed
• Present study findings to clients during status calls in a clear and professional manner

Required qualifications

• Engineering degree in electrical engineering, physics, or telecommunications, or a law degree with 7+ years of experience in patent law
• Strong experience in patent searches and reviewing patents and technical/scientific literature
• Excellent oral presentation and technical writing skills
• Proven ability to work effectively with team members, including study managers and researchers
• Preferably a former patent examiner with expertise in patent search and examination
