IP Transactions Attorney

Job Summary

To support strategic initiatives in a highly regulated industry, the part-time IP Transactions Attorney will structure, negotiate, and advise on complex IP-focused transactions, including licensing and collaboration agreements, while working remotely for approximately 20 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate sophisticated IP agreements and provide legal counsel on transactional issues
• Collaborate with business and legal stakeholders to drive alignment and support ongoing business initiatives
• Translate complex legal concepts into practical business advice for diverse stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Substantial experience in drafting and negotiating IP agreements, particularly in the medical device or diagnostics sectors
• Prior law firm experience handling complex IP transactions
• Strong background in counseling clients on intellectual property and transactional matters
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience navigating cross-functional environments with diverse stakeholders
