Iran Researcher

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Iran Researcher to assist in the collection, review, and management of political violence and protest data across Iran.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and record incidents of political violence by reviewing news, NGO, and security reports
• Ensure the quality, consistency, and reliability of the data produced
• Participate in extensive training and complete required exercises to maintain researcher status

Required Qualifications

• University degree in international relations, political science, conflict studies, peacebuilding, international development, or a related field
• Familiarity with Excel
• Fluency in English and Farsi; Arabic is preferred
• Experience conducting desk-based research
• Research focus or professional experience in conflict research or peace-building in the Middle East is an advantage
