Job Summary

A company is looking for an Institutional Review Board Chair.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure ethical and regulatory compliance in human subjects research
• Oversee intake, screening, and review of research protocols, ensuring timely determinations and participant protections
• Chair IRB meetings, manage documentation, and oversee policy and process improvements

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience conducting or overseeing research involving human participants
• Prior IRB experience or equivalent human research oversight experience
• Strong working knowledge of applicable human subjects regulations and ethical standards
• Excellent judgment and ability to facilitate committee deliberations
• Commitment to an educational, service-oriented approach that supports researchers while maintaining protections
