Job Summary
Supporting the Human Research Protection Program, the full-time IRB Quality Assurance Coordinator will manage IRB activities related to protocol review, reliance agreements, and post-approval monitoring while serving as a resource for investigators and institutional stakeholders in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily administration of IRB reliance activities, quality assurance initiatives, and post-approval monitoring
- Serve as a primary resource for investigators and research staff regarding IRB processes and regulatory requirements
- Provide guidance during the preparation and submission of research protocols, amendments, and study closures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; degree in a related discipline preferred
- 2+ years of experience supporting IRB activities or human subjects research administration required
- Experience with electronic research administration (eRA) systems and web-based applications
- Ability to interpret policies and regulations related to human subjects research
- Demonstrated customer service and relationship-building skills
