IRB Specialist with CIP Certification

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Single IRB Specialist to manage reliance agreements and site-specific institutional requirements for research oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison for investigators relying on external sIRBs and manage compliance with regulations
• Review applications for relying sites and determine eligibility based on institutional policies
• Coordinate the negotiation of study reliance agreements and communicate policies to external sIRBs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
• IRB professional (CIP) credential in good standing or must pass the exam within 90 days of employment
• 5-7 years of experience in clinical research or regulatory affairs required
• Strong understanding of federal regulations, including the Common Rule and HIPAA
• High degree of computer literacy
