Ireland Licensed EAP Counsellor

Job Summary

Engaging with clients through various communication methods, the full-time Ireland Licensed EAP Counsellor will provide telephonic and video counselling, crisis management, and emotional support while working in a hybrid environment in Dublin.

Key responsibilities

• Provide single session telephonic and video counselling, ensuring client confidentiality and professional support
• Assess clients for appropriateness of short-term counselling and manage high-risk calls effectively
• Collaboratively develop treatment plans and maintain clinical documentation in the case management system

Required qualifications

• Minimum of a Level 4 diploma in Counselling
• Membership of a regulatory counselling body (IACP/Other) with full accreditation or working towards it
• Experience with short-term counselling modalities such as Solution-Focused and CBT
• Training in crisis intervention and support for high-risk clients is beneficial
• Culturally sensitive with the ability to work with diverse clients globally
