Ireland Licensed Head of Compliance

Job Summary

Leading the compliance framework for a rapidly expanding virtual asset service provider, the full-time Ireland Licensed Head of Compliance will oversee regulatory compliance, manage relationships with regulators, and implement technology-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements, including the VASP license
• Develop and maintain relationships with the Central Bank of Ireland and oversee the implementation of new regulatory requirements
• Provide compliance advisory support to the PESL Board and oversee the Compliance Monitoring Programme

Required qualifications

• Significant senior compliance experience at a regulated crypto exchange or financial institution
• Proven success in leveraging technology and automation to scale compliance efforts
• Experience managing relationships with regulators and implementing EU financial regulations
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior management and boards
• Experience with VASP registrations and managing complex compliance projects
